The Law Office of James M. Stanley
PERSONAL INJURY LAW
The Law Office of James M. Stanley welcomes its clients in a unique manner — it invites them home. An extraordinary home built in the early 1900s serves as the law firm’s office and is symbolic of their practice, which concentrates on representing individuals against corporations and wrong-doers.
Stanley and his team of lawyers — Alfred Pandolfi, John Burton and Jesse J. Lotspeich — practice personal injury and wrongful death law. They represent people who have suffered bodily harm or death because of another’s negligence or disregard for safety.
“A personal injury lawyer does two things: He serves as a vehicle for his client to receive justice through a compensatory system, and he serves to deter hazardous practices,” Stanley says.
The team of lawyers offers their clients a special advantage through their diverse education and backgrounds. The lawyers and supporting staff take a personal interest in every client. To achieve this, all four lawyers work on each case together, allowing the client to benefit from the strengths and availability of each attorney.
The supporting staff is an intricate part of the law firm and consists of five full time employees with combined experience of over 80 years with the firm.
“Everyone in the office is 100 percent for the client,” says Stanley. “My staff has worked here for a long time. When we hire, it is with a long-term commitment to that employee. They in turn commit to be part of the team.”
The staff was handpicked by James and his late wife, Christi. In 2013, Christi passed away after a courageous fight against AML leukemia. Her influence on the law practice and belief in the mission of helping others serve to inspire the attorneys and staff at the Law Office of James M. Stanley.
Stanley and his team take on cases which include wrongful death suits, work-related injuries, 18-wheeler truck accidents, car accidents, defective and unsafe products, unsafe premises, electrocutions, explosions, construction accidents, OSHA violations, alcohol-related accidents, and many others.
“We want to handle cases that make a difference in the world; to see that unsafe conditions are corrected, unsafe practices are changed, unsafe products are taken off the market, that rules are followed, and that individuals are treated fairly,” Stanley says.
Individuals fighting against larger forces may often experience the disadvantage of being the underdog, but Stanley and his aggressive team fight to make sure their clients have every advantage.
The firm takes pride in handling challenging, meaningful cases, such as cases that deal with life-threatening safety hazards to which the entire community is exposed. Every client and every case is important, and each improvement they make by enforcing the law helps the client and contributes to the community of Fort Worth and the state of Texas.
